Elle TENS 2 HIRE
The ultimate drug-free pain relief option for labour.
The Elle TENS 2 is the ultimate drug-free pain relief option for labour and is so easy to use with all the settings pre-set ready to go on your big day. The Elle TENS 2 uses the latest Opti-Max technology, which is an extra pulse of pain-combatting power, often used in the final stages of labour when you most need it. The TENS works by placing the four electrode pads on your lower back and setting the TENS to send gentle electrical pulses to your back and block pain signals to your brain as well as help build endorphins (which are nature's pain killers).
- Pre-set modes for ease of use
- Contraction timer
- Integrated boost button
- Optimax technology for extra power
- Uses four brand-new electrode pads
- Backlit digital display
- Neck cord for mobility
Included in the hire is everything you need for your big day:
- Elle TENS 2
- 4 brand new reusable electrode pads
- 2 brand new batteries
Your TENS can be picked up, dropped off to you or posted, if needed. You'll also receive ongoing support, in case you have any questions at all.
We recommend hiring your TENS from 37-38 weeks and it's yours to keep for four weeks or until you birth your baby, so you'll have time to familiarise yourself with your TENS and have it on hand when you need it.
*Please confirm availability prior to booking*
I'm not due for a while, can I book now?
Yes, you're welcome to pre-book your TENS machine at any time. Please check availability prior to booking and we'll lock in your hire dates.
I'm due soon, can I still hire a TENS?
Please check our availability! If we have a machine available, we can get it to you ASAP!
What if I go over my due date?
Our TENS hire is a four-week hire and we allow up to a week for your machine to be returned after the hire period. We allow space between bookings if extended hire is needed, so please keep us in the loop if you need to keep your machine longer. Extended hire periods can also be organised in advance, if needed.
Can I take it on and off if I use the shower?
Yes, the pads are reusable and can be removed and placed on the backing they came on. Remember to dry your skin off before placing the pads back on.
Can I test the machine before I go into labour?
Yes, it's a great idea to familiarise yourself with the machine before you're in labour. The pads are designed to be used up to 30 times, so it won't affect their stickiness. We recommend waiting until you're 37 weeks or more before testing out your TENS.
How do I return my machine?
If you're in Cairns, we can pick up your machine from you or you're welcome to drop it back off. Postage can also be organised.
